Concept frame

First version

With design, sometimes you need to see how it works in a composition before you can move forward. I did love the grass fields that I created in my last post but when I put them with the trees and bushes it became a little too busy. Instead I have opted with making the grass a lot more simple with the a little bit of pen strokes for the blades.

The greens of the trees and bushes were very saturated so I have dulled them down and added a warm photo filter to marry the characters with the background. I am a big fan of my first concept frame but it stills looks a little flat.
