Mire monster and recruiter character turnaround

Mire Monster

Here are two character turnarounds! Introducing the monster that the main characters will fight in my animation. A combination of a whale’s head and crab feet, this freaky little thing has a simple design but I love it!

The next character is the recruiter who sees our three heroes whilst they fight for their lives. Impressed by their teamwork, she attempts to recruit them into the human resistance.

The major thing that I have found out whilst creating these turnarounds is a style idea. Although I really would like to create the characters without an outline like Little Amelie, It’s a lot easier with a thin outline. I will make the outline as thin as I can but having one included will save me time in the long run.
