Mire monster design

Crazy, two posts in two days!

Here’s the Mire monster design in full colour at last. The concept behind it combines the head of a whale with the body elements of a crab. The orange goo represents remnants of its transformation, along with the additional eyes that emerged during the process.

I’ve aimed to make the creature feel unsettling and grotesque, using the dripping goo as a key detail and is the blood of the organism.

Next I will create the colour versions of the recruiter.
