Brief beginnings!

The brief:

Create a three-minute animated intro to a prospective cartoon. This will feature the characters in the show, world building and would be snappy but impactful.

As much as I really enjoy the freedom of working on my personal project, I have decided to have a brief for Anke Through the Ages! I have always thought the opening (OP) of an animated show has to be great so that the people keep on coming back for more. So with this brief I can do all the research and pre-production I want but still have a clear outcome.

I would describe the project in one line: An explorer gains godly power and must journey through time to prevent an inevitable evil.

Below are a few areas I want to explore in all the stages of production:

Pre-Production: research & development, observational drawings, flag, character, background and map design.

Production: thumbnail sketches, storyboards, story beats, animatic and sound design

Post Production: composition, editing, colour correction and vfx
