The birth of ‘Anke through the Ages’

A few name changes but mainly I wanted one line to help with the drawings and describe the character.

I've taken the first big step in this project and that is to kill your darlings!

Whilst looking at the characters I have designed, I thought that they all lacked imagination and were quite weak.

The notes I made for all of them were good and could perhaps be used in my development of them but I wanted more from their designs. They weren't unique enough for me.

Inspired by Chrono Trigger, I've always been interested in time in media and wanted to design my characters at three different ages.

This helped with the eventual title of my project as now it would go by 'Anke through the Ages!' I've always been a sucker for some good old alliteration.

Below are redesigns of all the eight characters in three stages of their lives. All of the stages go up in increments of 15. I want to continue to push them but will maintain the philosophy that each of them would represent the one line description. I want to make sure I play with proportions and the style too.
